Responsibilities:
1.?The?SMT?Engineer?is?responsible?for?support?in?the?effective?and?efficient?running?of?the?Surface?Mount?Assembly?process?and?all?supporting?Work?Instructions.
2.?The?SMT?Engineer?will?support?Supervisors?&?Shift/Team?Leaders?to?ensure?that?all?staff?are?trained,?competent?and?are?performing?in?accordance?with?their?job?descriptions?ensuring?training?records??are?maintained?and?regularly?updated.?
3.?Expand?understanding?of?Surface?Mount?Assembly?in?order?to?develop?&?optimise?products/processes?&?to?effect?the?timely?introduction?of?new?products.?
4.?Provide?training?and?support?for?SMT?Technician.?
5.To?resolve?any?technical?problems?(with?Supervisor,?Shift?Leaders?&?Team?Leaders)?that?are?reported?or?become?apparent?with?processes?or?machines?ensuring?accurate?log?of?problems?is?kept.
6.Provide?measures/reports?on?daily/weekly?frequency?to?ensure?targets?detailed?in?DIMENSIONS?are?being?achieved.?
7.Develop?&?assist?in?the?maintenance?&?optimisation?of?programs?on?all?semi-automated?&?automated?machines?(Including?off-line?programming)?in?the?SMA?processes?ensuring?all?Concessions?and?DCR’s?are?actioned?appropriately?logged?on?PROGNAME?and?actioned?for?Production?Control.??
8.Arrange?equipment?supplier?planned?maintenance’s?(ensuring?correct?documentation)?so?as?to?ensure?minimal?disruption?and?downtime.
9.The?SMT?Engineer?is?responsible?for?intercommunion?technical?problem?with?MK?SMA?team;
10.?SPECIAL?RESPONSIBILITIES:?
To?assist?in?maintaining?discipline?within?the?department?and?resolve?any?problems?with?the?our?team?leader.?

1.?Bachelors?Degree?or?above.?
2.?Major?in:?Electrical,?Mechanical?or?equivalent.

1.???3+years?in?SMT?process?introduction/improvement/troubleshoot?with?complex?PCBAs
2.???Computer?skill:?Computer?skills?of?MS?office?
?3.???Language?ability:?Good?written?and?verbal?communication?skills?in?English?
?4.???Knowledge?of?lean?manufacturing?techniques?including?poka-yoke,?Kaizen,?one-piece?flow?and?PFMEA
