Role:
To?work?with?the?Impact?Science?China?team?to?manage?our?WeChat?accounts?on?a?freelancing?basis.?In?this?role,?you?will?be?responsible?for?reviewing?and?implementing?WeChat?strategy?for?Chinese?audiences?(largely?for?doctors,?physicians,?researchers)?of?Academic?Publishers,?such?as?Elsevier,?Wiley,?and?BMJ.
Additionally,?you?will?be?expected?to?analyse?the?academic?landscape?on?WeChat?for?identifying?business?opportunities?for?Impact?Science.
The?role?includes:
a)??????Understanding?the?China?Digital?landscape?and?provide?review?(and?occasionally?writing)?support?for?WeChat?content?translated?to?Chinese?from?English?for?the?seamless?posting?on?academic?WeChat?accounts.
b)??????Manage?social?media?development?project?lifecycle,?including?but?not?limited?to?coordination?of?internal?and?external?stakeholders,?providing?support?during?implementation?and?meeting?project?timelines,?while?constantly?checking?for?quality.
c)???????Being?familiar?with?social?media?metrics?to?be?able?to?judge?the?efficacy?of?content?strategy.
d)??????Identify?business?opportunities?for?Impact?Science?by?analysing?the?current?academic?landscape?on?WeChat.
e)??????Provide?in-depth?report?on?key?Academic?WeChat?accounts.
f)???????Brainstorm?solutions?that?will?be?a?product-market?fit?for?our?China?clientele.
g)??????Being?able?to?correspond?directly?with?Senior?Management?and?Key?Stakeholders?when?needed?over?email?or?on?Zoom.
Skills:
Being?bilingual?–?with?particularly?strong?Chinese?content?writing?skills?with?knowledge?English,?solely?for?the?purpose?of?stakeholder?communication.
Having?excellent?written?and?oral?communication?skills,?with?a?background?preferably?in?the?field?of?medicine,?public?health,?or?life?sciences.
Intern?experience?in?a?related?field,?with?experience?of?having?created?content?for?WeChat.
Having?worked?in?niche?publications?/academia?sectors?in?a?marketing?role?will?be?an?advantage.
Self-motivated?and?fast?learner,?with?the?ability?for?work?flexibly?across?time?zones?and?different?cultures.
