Responsibilities
Own?the?quality?of?the?assigned?projects
Create,?update?and?maintain?all?project?testing?documentation?such?as?test?plans,?test?cases?and?progression?status??to?ensure?effective?testing?coverage?throughout?the?project
Primary?testing?point?of?contact?with?customer?on?a?project?level
Lead,?co-ordinate,?support?and?guide?the?test?team?through?the?production?testing?cycle
Ensure?tasks?and?responsibilities?are?clearly?communicated?and?assigned?to?each?member?of?the?testing?team
Owns?the?project?bug?database?and?the?quality?of?the?bug?reports
Work?closely?with?internal?and?external?teams?to?ensure?testing?is?executed?effectively?and?that?the?project?status?is?transparent?at?all?times
Work?with?the?Test?Program?Manager?to?review?and?adjust?QA?process?and?approach?to?improve?best?practices?and?introduce?efficiencies
Ensure?that?projects?are?released?on?time,?within?budget?and?to?the?highest?possible?quality
Conduct?regular?meetings?with?test?team?to?provide?updates,?direction?and?get?their?feedback
Conduct?Tester?recruitment?interviews?
Train?new?testing?staff?and?assist?integrating?them?into?the?Test?department?
Create?annual?objectives?for?assigned?staff,?mentor?them?throughout?the?year,?provide?feedback,?advise?and?conduct?the?annual?performance?review
Continuously?works?with?other?Test?Leads?and?Testers?to?improve?knowledge?and?proactively?suggest?new?ideas?and?improvements?in?all?testing?areas?including?testing?tools
Escalate?project?related?problems?in?a?timely?manner

Experience
Minimum?of?3+?years?QA?Lead?experience?in?the?video?games?industry
Minimum?of?3+?years?of?direct?functional?testing?video?games?experience
Good?game?playing?abilities?and?understanding?of?the?various?genres
Proven?ability?to?create?and?implement?solid?test?strategies,?test?plans?and?test?scripts
Experience?with?a?wide?range?of?software?applications?and?Microsoft?Office
Experience?testing?console?Technical?Requirements?and/or?Networking?a?plus
Experience?of?test?automation?and?tools?a?plus?
Skills?and?Abilities
