Essential?Duties?and?Responsibilities:
? According?to?the?building?configuration,?structural?engineer?elaborates?in?autonomy?a?steel?frame?to?sustain?the?artificial?climbing?wall?following?the?requirements?imposed?by?EN?standards.
? He?or?she?runs?structural?analyses?through?Cype?(or?equivalent?software)?and?will?edit?an?intelligible?and?critical?report?regarding?the?reaction?forces?on?the?building.
? He?or?she?assists?the?Project?Manager?in?charge?of?the?project?or?directly?explain?to?client?the?meaning?of?this?report?and?accompany?him?through?building?structural?calculation?if?needed?(in?client’s?scope?of?work).?
? He?or?she?provides?technical?advice?to?resolve?problems?that?are?project?specific.?
? He?or?she?assists?EP?Asia?R&D?Department?to?develop?self?standing?solutions.
? He?or?she?assists?drafting?department?in?the?elaboration?of?drawings?in?accordance?with?his?or?her?previous?calculation?(steel?section?sizes?and?junctions…)
? This?leads?him?or?her?to?enhance?the?standard?parts?for?assembly.
? At?middle?term,?he?or?she?will?work?in?close?collaboration?with?drafting?department?in?order?to?enhance?drawings?standards
? He?or?she?reviews?project?proposals?and?bids?with?sales?department?for?accuracy?and?capacity?(steel?estimation)
? He?or?she?occasionally?is?in?contact?with?steel?suppliers,?assisting?technically?procurement?department.
? As?the?occasional?work?of?project?manager,?he?or?she?will?supervise?the?designs?for?the?climbing?wall?for?client?as?per?contract?and?client’s?needs.
? Prepares?project?reports?for?management,?client,?or?others.?
? May?assist?in?other?areas?as?assigned?and?needed?to?meet?company?goals?and?objectives.?These?may?include?working?on?installations,?etc.
Qualifications:
? 5?years?minimum?of?related?experience?in?construction,?steel?structure?or?related?field
? Excellent?Knowledge?of?Eurocodes?is?mandatory
? Technically?able?to?read?mechanical?and?Structure?drawings
? Experience?with?managing?design?and?engineering?processes
? Very?good?communication?(Verbal?and?written?in?English),?Mandarin?is?a?plus
? Effective?problem-solving?skills
? Autonomy?and?adaptability?skills?are?necessary
? Must?have?good?interpersonal?and?communication?skills?and?ability?to?work?in?a?team?environment
? Experience?in?managing?a?small?team?(3?to?4?peoples)
? Familiarity?and?competence?with?the?use?of?Office?suit,?AutoCAD/Sketchup?and?Structural?engineering?software?(Robot,?Cype?or?equivalent)
? Competence?on?Advance?Steel?is?a?valuable?plus
? College?degree?in?Construction?Project?Management,?Mechanical?Engineering,?Construction?Engineering?or?equivalent?is?preferred
? Climbing?experience?could?be?a?plus
